thoughtful articles documenting the forward-thinking
products, services, ideas, resources, people and
organizations that will play an ever more important role
in Valley communities.

A Quality Editorial Environment
NEXT OKANAGAN'S POSITIVE, INFORMATIVE AND PROACTIVE EDITORIAL APPROACH SPOTLIGHTS COMMUNITY RESILIANCE AND THE INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SERVICE, INVOLVEMENT, LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP THAT WILL MAKE IT POSSIBLE.
Next Okanagan consists of feature articles of substantive depth, plus
departments and columns that investigate and showcase valuable
products and services, along with best-quality graphics that all together
provide meaningful, quality information not available elsewhere.
Next Okanagan is distributed to 5000 individuals, retailers, local
businesses, professional offices, chambers of commerce, organizations and
institutions. According to the latest readership report from the Print
Measurement Bureau, the average magazine readers per copy is 4.9. This
makes our target audience an untapped market that advertisers would
otherwise be unable to penetrate, thus providing value to our community
partners and advertisers.
Next Okanagan delivers real value for advertisers. In a world where it's
getting harder to meaningfully reach consumers without being ignored,
irritated or shut out at the press of a button, print publications provide "win-win"
solutions for both the advertiser and the consumer. Research demonstrates
how print publications connect in powerful ways.
|
|
Print publications are:
#1 in throwing consumers to websites.
#1 in motivating web searches.
#1 in engagement, servicing individual reader needs and passions with
fresh content in every issue. Reading is viewed as my time.
#1 in increasing brand favourability, a positive shift in brand attitudes.
#1 in increasing purchase intent, arguably the hardest performance metric
to shift.
Next Okanagan provides a quality advertising environment:
Consumers pay attention to print publication ads at the same level as television
ads and more than other media.
Print publication ads are viewed as a useful service, not an interruption.
Consumers read them almost as much as editorial content.
Print publication ads provide important details; they tell the full brand story in
a relevant, trusted environment.
Print publications provide narrow, laser-like targeting against geography,
demographics, lifestyles and personal passion.
Combine these benefits with a print publication's shelf life messages work
24/7 and low production costs, and advertisers are assured of more bang
for their media buck than any other option available.
